Public Bench by Pejman Mirzaei and Caroline Sergen
By highlighting the uniformization and its omnipresence in the new society, an image of political thought is formed by two sets, the individual and the society, where the bench consists of two elements: three diverse chairs that each has a history and an identity. Developed by paris-based designer pejman mirzaei and caroline sergent, the project is conceived to symbolize a society that tends increasingly to be uniform, the imprint of each furniture piece is carved into wooden slats, adapting to the form of the bench as an attempt to diversify inclusion, integration and successive assimilation through spatial design.
